- Any medication dosing — our Medication Dose Calculator only multiplies a dose your veterinarian has already prescribed; it does not recommend what dose or drug to use.
- Pregnant, nursing, senior, or medically diagnosed pets, where general guidance is least likely to fit an individual case.
- Sudden or significant weight, appetite, or behavior changes — these warrant a vet visit regardless of what a calculator shows.
