Exotic Shorthair
The Exotic Shorthair was developed in the United States in the 1950s by crossing Persians with American Shorthairs, resulting in a Persian-type cat with a short, plush coat that requires far less grooming. It shares the Persian's round face, flat nose, and gentle temperament, but is slightly more active and easier to care for. The Exotic Shorthair has become extremely popular worldwide.
